About the author
Wladyslaw "Maui" Dwulat was born in a time marked with uncertainty and the opportunity of fading Communism. With the precious gift of evangelical faith as his guide, he moved forward into an uncharted cultural and political landscape of emerging faith and possibility in a newly democratic Poland. A frontiersman at heart, his passion and undying belief that "the best is yet to come" coupled with
"partnership in the spirit of togetherness" forged a path into the future for thousands of young Polish students who would gather to hear the Gospel for the first time at conferences and evangelical
outreach camps in the 90's.
His focus on the next generation of young Polish youth and service as the General Secretary for the newly formed Evangelical Alliance in Poland helped to mobilize a new era of evangelical belief and values. As President of Festival of Hope for Poland and in cooperation with Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham
Association, he helped usher in a new era of openness—filled with forgiveness, truth, and hope. His leadership and support of local Christian Churches throughout Poland helped cement and bring together a movement focused on evangelism through practical community-based service, which continues today.
