About the author
Rev. Dr. E-K Daufin is a Fat Liberation Movement High Priestess and Poet Laureate. She's an intersectional, Black, feminist, race, class, and weight equity community activist. She earned degrees at The Ohio State and Morgan State universities. She has worked with NAAFA, ASDAH, AEJMC, the Popular Culture Association's Fat Studies, Black demographics, women's health, and ecology areas. She's been in ESSENCE, the Los Angeles Times, CNN, as well as New York, Ohio, California, and Alabama Public Television and other media.
