About the author
Lenin Espinoza is originally from Granada, Nicaragua and immigrated to the U.S. in 1993. After high school,
Lenin joined the United States Navy, was married, and eventually pursued a college degree via the GI Bill. He and his wife then bought a home and started a family. Later, in an effort to keep a promise he made
to always be there for his family, Lenin opened a general insurance agency. When the Great Recession hit, many people lost their homes. Lenin couldn't do anything to help his insurance customers in that situation because most lenders required files to be worked on or represented by lawyers, not-for-profit companies, or brokers. The experience was so frustrating that Lenin took the real estate broker exam and also obtained a mortgage broker license. Even though he enjoys solid business success, Lenin isn't one to rest on his laurels; he's working to become a lender.
