About the author
Pepper Bonay-Martin is an ordained minister, NYS Chaplain, preacher and highly sought-after keynote speaker at a variety of events around the globe. Her love of family and commitment to community was borne in the church where she was reared and continued during a 15-year career spent educating and helping children, as a certified teacher, school counselor and administrator in the New York City Public Schools system. She is extremely passionate about empowering women who have had to overcome extreme pain from their past. Her experiences and passion moved her to start Women Intended For Excellence (WIFE) Ministries, a nonprofit organization designed to primarily, but not exclusively, assist women who function below their potential as a result of experiencing past traumatic events in their lives and help them fulfill their life’s purpose. As CEO of WIFE Ministries, she strives to design strategies to help women overcome obstacles that have prevented them from achieving their life’s goals. Recently, she also has entered into a new area of ministry involving men in relationships with women who have sexual abuse or assault in their past. She provides these men with a safe place to discuss their feelings and offers them a step-by-step approach to help them define their roles in their loved one’s healing process. She is currently an administrative site supervisor for Grand Canyon University and a board member for the Center for Rapid Recovery in Nassau County. She is also pursuing her doctorate in theology.
