About the author
Christopher Davis is a Sickle Cell WARRIOR who has seen the very dark depths to which this invisible disease can take a person. Born in 1978, Chris was the first patient in the study of SCD at CHOP in Philadelphia. Not having heard of any publication about the struggles of what people with sickle cell anemia go through, it was left to Chris to apply his writing ability to communicate to the world what time it is. He is a proud father who has supported his children despite the circumstances. Life isn't finished, nor is he done with living. There is plenty more to accomplish and experience before it is time to go.
