About the author
My name is Penny and I live just outside Toronto, Ontario Canada. I was born and raised close by in Oshawa, Ontario. Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. As a young child, I would direct my parents on the fabrication of the things I designed. Through my teens and early adulthood I focused on sewing, cross-stitch, needlepoint and embroidery. I then discovered photography and love to photograph architectural details of buildings, sculptures, nature and of course my cat. I became a CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher) in 2014 and love to teach people this meditative art form. Recently I have started sketching and dabbling in painting. My favourite subjects are flowers. At some point I let someone who knew nothing about me tell me I wasn't creative. This comment I allowed to hold power over me for quite some time. After talking with many people, I learned that for a lot of people, this same story was true and I felt the need to re-inspire people to get "Back On The Path" to being their most creative selves for the soul purpose of feeling joyful! When not working on design projects , I can most often be found at my cottage enjoying nature, crafting and hanging with my cat!
