About the author

TR is a retired U.S. Marine. Growing up in west central Wisconsin watching aircraft from nearby Ft. McCoy fly overhead got him interested in both the military and aviation. During twenty years of active duty, he held different positions while also doing his primary job as a CH-53E Helicopter Pilot, serving on the west coast with numerous overseas deployments. He is currently an Aviation Ground School Instructor for a major logistics company in Louisville, KY. TR's start in writing began when he was prompted by his wife to accomplish one of his 'bucket list' items of writing a book. The subsequent journey has been one of hard work, a steep learning curve, and the realization of a passion for writing. Although he's a 'part time' author, writing is a 'full-time' passion for TR with the ideas continually flowing, eventually winding up on 'paper'. He sincerely hopes others will hop on to enjoy the ride he's taking his characters on!
