Allen Itz is a second-life poet from San Antonio, Texas. He published in several small journals in the late 1960s, then quit writing until his first retirement from public service in 1998 when he began to write again. Since then his work has been published in various poetry journals and he has published one book of poetry in print and, with his most recent book, five poetry eBooks and one eBook of short stories.
