Overview

How does Existence support you? By letting you know you belong. When you become conscious of your own existence, that Consciousness is the beginning of connection to your Timeless nature.

Description

The truth is simple. The direct experience of the truth is truth. In its absence, we search for new words, for different philosophies. But "new" doesn't mean having a new concept—it means having a new taste of your own existence in this moment.
How do you relate to your life? It's as though you have a basket, and you're going shopping through the universe. The emptier your basket, the more you can gather.

Our True nature wishes to support us, and it is supporting us every moment of our life. We could have a tangible experience of that support, by being present. How does Existence support you? By letting you know you belong. In truth, your home is the entire cosmos. Having a human body allows you to experience this. When you become conscious of your own existence, that Consciousness is the beginning of connection to your Timeless nature.

About the author

Jon Schreiber, D. C., director of the Breema Center and Breema Clinic in Oakland, California, has been teaching Breema in the U.S. and internationally since 1980.

He has presented Breema to interested groups in the fields of medicine, psychology, bodywork, exercise, holistic health, and personal growth. His numerous articles and books focus on the universal and practical philosophy of Breema. In his active clinical practice, Dr. Schreiber uses Breema, Self-Breema, and the Nine Principles of Harmony to help his patients discover the real meaning of health. In order to make the benefits of Breema available to a wider audience, he began writing about the principles and philosophy of Breema as well as about working with the bodywork and exercises.

Dr. Schreiber’s books have been well received nationally and internationally (two of them have been translated into German) and have lead to numerous public appearances. He has also been a frequent annual presenter around the U.S. at venues such as Esalen Institute, Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at UCSF, Rowe Conference Center, the American Massage Therapy Association National Convention, and San Francisco State University Holistic Health Program.
