Overview
A madman is using nanomachine technology to "cull the herd" of humanity. His demented mind has determined that only those deemed worthy shall remain. Gradually he begins pursuing his campaign to purify the gene pool for his New Eden. Public knowledge of this intended genocide, along with the technology behind it, will only cause widespread panic and chaos. The need for secrecy in eliminating this threat is considered extremely paramount. Enter the Dogs of Warr. Battling an unseen foe of a known enemy creates quite a challenge for the team as they fight not only for their own fate, but for that of the entire human race!
Description
It starts with the Devil's Ghost assaulting the black site where his former cyber-operative is being held. He releases his man so they can start rebuilding Gregor's fortune and forces to seek revenge on Warr and the Dogs. Operations are returning to normal at the Kennel after the assault by the Devil's Ghost a few weeks ago that debilitated one member of the Dogs and critically injured a family member. The newest genius, Kid, is acclimating well, interacting seamlessly with Brain while the team starts respecting him more for his intelligence. Life doesn't stay quiet for long though as a new threat arises from the shadows. A radical racist billionaire genius wants to cull the "dregs of humanity and give Mother Earth a fresh start." He is orchestrating economic downfalls coupled with a pandemic of a designer bioweapon he has his engineering company manufacturing underground. He is picking and choosing who will or will not receive their salvation. His private army is slowly growing in size near his headquarters in a New Orleans suburb. The security around him is very tight and that's one of the reasons the Dogs are called in to eliminate him. The other reason, and the twist is that they must also prevent the dissemination and spread of this designer nanomachine virus, HADES as well as any knowledge of it from being divulged to the public. A skirmish pits the Dogs against the private army of the racist radical and his new band of followers. A stealthy infiltration by the Dogs through some very complex and tight security gets them in close enough to proceed with their mission. It's a race against time and a small army to prevent high tech chaos from erupting globally. The threat is very real and entirely unseen. Once again the Dogs of Warr are called upon to save humanity from a vile threat to its very existence.
About the author
TR grew up in a small town in west central Wisconsin. One of those small towns that if you blink when passing through, you'll miss it. But it was a life experience he wouldn't trade for the world. Watching the aircraft from nearby Ft. McCoy fly overhead got him interested in both the military and aviation. In his 20 years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps he served as an aircraft ground support equipment technician, a Communications Officer, and a CH-53E Helicopter Pilot. He is currently at his "dream job" working in the aviation field with a major logistics company in his newly adopted hometown of Louisville, KY. TR's start in writing began when he mentioned to his wife he'd always wanted to write a book and she told him, "go for it!" The subsequent journey has been one of hard work, a steep learning curve, and the realization of a passion for writing. The first incarnation of the Dogs of Warr were comic book characters drawn into a sketchbook in 1986. The debut novel was a way to bring those characters to life, giving them depth and dimension. While only a 'part time' author, it's become a passion for TR and the ideas keep flowing, eventually winding up on paper. He hopes that others enjoy the ride that he's taking his characters on!!
