Overview
Just Being There follows an incredible true journey that reveals the power and the gifts that come with parental love. The story begins with a single woman in the midst of courageously rebuilding her life and creating a new home for her children who chooses to stand beside a boy in the process of becoming a man who is in need of opportunity and love to help him find his way. During this passage, an incredible discovery is made of the musical genius that lies within this boy. As time passes, the judgment and ridicule of society starts to take their toll on all involved, leading to some heartfelt twist and turns. Yet in the end, it is the realization of the gift and power of music that shines through and, most of all, the understanding that the most sacred mantra of parenting is Just Being There!
