"The Remarkable Tale of a Whale", was originally published by P.F. Volland Company in 1920. It is described as a, "rollicking nonsense rhyme". In this delightful rhyme the story is told about a whale that wants to take a tour of the land and meet its inhabitants.

The author, Isa L. Wright, used rhyme to hep young readers learn and enjoy reading. It's central character is a King Whale that befriends children and takes them on a flying tour of the land. Kimberly Simpson has restored and updated the images. She has also given definitions to some of the old English terms that are used.
