About the author
William Dorich has a strong background in printing and publishing industry. His early training was in journalism and photography. His articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune and the Washington Times, among others. He and his wife Anita founded GM Books in 1985—a firm specializing in quality self-publishing. Since forming the company GM Books has published over 175 titles including, Witness to War: Images of the Persian Gulf War for the Los Angeles Times that won a Pulitzer. William is the author of five books on Balkan history and music. The Nursing Home Crisis follows his 2008 publication Defeat Foreclosure. His two current books are, Sleep Seekers and Serbia: Faces & Places.
