About the author

Johnnie Williams III is an Encouragement Specialist who has leveraged much of his time, talent and relationships for the benefit of youth and young adults on a local, national and international level. He collaborates with an international team of consultants to assist organizations with the development of community projects, conscious products and engaging programs. He has co-authored two children's books, created two financial literacy workbooks and developed a good behavior tracking system. He has provided more than 1,800 public presentations to over 1 million students, uniquely qualifying him to advise parents and education professionals on components that produce success stories. While managing the community outreach of his brother Jerome 'JYD' Williams during his nine-year NBA career, he gained the attention of some very influential people. His creative mind and caring heart generated three city council awards, a Black Enterprise magazine article, and two commission appointments from a Henderson mayor and Michigan state senator.
