Saved to Serve

According to Max Simms: I wrote this book not to glorify me but to show how God has worked miracles in my life. He took an ordinary man with ordinary skills and blessed me with the power to preach His word. Like the old hymn says, "He is the potter, and I am the clay." I believe with my whole heart that God saved me, so I could serve Him. I hope my testimony will encourage those who are entering the ministry or are searching for the true answer to life's problems--Jesus Christ.

William P. Robertson was born in 1950 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Mansfield University with a B.S. in English in 1972, he worked in factories, taught high school English, and ran his own house painting business. Bill started freelance writing in 1978, and his poetry, short stories, and articles have appeared in over 500 magazines worldwide. He has also published 53 books in the historical fiction, poetry, and horror genres. Robertson credits his success as an author to the writing gift with which God blessed him.
