Description
TERROR TIME is William P. Robertson's third collection of horror stories and his hardest hitting yet. The anthology kicks off with a second visit from femme fatale, Lauren Watson, who wreaks havoc on another branch of her family. The author also immerses his Bucktail Civil War characters, Bucky Culp and Jimmy Jewett, in two scary, postbellum adventures. Robertson's first dark fantasy story appears here, too. It relates the trials of an aging Viking who's smitten with a witch. An encounter with a jailhouse ghost and two winter travel tales squeeze the chills from more modern settings. Disturbing episodes from Bill's own childhood creep in twice. There's even an apocalyptic gem detailing the revolt caused by government gun control. Such variety has critics and readers alike singing the author's praises.
About the author
William P. Robertson was born in 1950 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Mansfield University in 1972 with a B.S. in English. He has since worked in factories, taught high school English, and run a successful house painting business. In his spare time Bill enjoys following the Pittsburgh Pirates and fishing for native brook trout. Robertson began freelancing short stories, poetry, and articles in 1978, and his work has now appeared in over 500 magazines worldwide. He has also collaborated with David Rimer on a series of historical fiction novels about the famous Civil War rifle regiment--the Bucktails.
