About the author
Dr. Donald R. Price is presently pastor of Highland Missionary Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, OK; Arkansas State Teacher’s College, Conway, AR; and, received his Doctor of Bible Languages from the Missionary Baptist Seminary, Little Rock, AR. He has served as pastor in churches in Arkansas and Oklahoma over a period of fifty-three years. He served as president of the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock, AR for nine years and taught in the school for twenty-three years. He presently is a teacher in Concord Baptist Institute, Norman, OK. In the two Bible schools he has taught: Bible Analysis, Communication Classes, Counseling, English, English Composition, Evangelism, Ezekiel and Daniel, Logic, New Testament Survey, Pastoral Care, Poetical Books and a few others.
He has served in various capacities in local, state and national associated work. He was Moderator and Clerk of Northeastern Oklahoma Association. He has served as parliamentarian of the Central Association of Oklahoma. He has served as Moderator, Clerk and Parliamentarian of the Baptist General Association of Oklahoma. Brother Price has served on the Missionary Committee and Baptist Sunday School Committee of the American Baptist Association. He was elected and served as Vice President and President of the American Baptist Association. He has worked with the youth serving as Director, Clerk and Youth Activities Director in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Over a period of fifty years he had the privilege of preaching more than two hundred fifty revivals.
Dr. Price has written numerous books used in teaching courses in the two Bible schools in the training of ministers, youth directors and Christian workers. These books are continuing to be used in Bible schools and Seminaries. Other books written are Bible Analysis, Counseling, English, Evangelism, Pastoral Care I and II, Poetical Books and Speech. He presently prepares outlines and other material for the Baptist Sunday School Committee.
The Lord has greatly blessed Brother Price with opportunities to serve and to be used in His service. The aim of his life is that “he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier” (2 Tim. 2:4).
