This book is lovingly dedicated to the memories of two of the most wonderful parents that eleven children could ever have had. It is easy for me to say that, being the last of the brood. But I know that some of my brothers and sisters may not share the same feelings because of being born earlier and having to go through our parents learning experience, in just how to deal with each situation as they arose.
I was closer to my mother than my father, because of his need to work so hard, providing for all of us. In his later years, we worked together and we were able to establish a long and lasting friendship, right up to his demise.
One compliment that my father paid me was that "He was sorry for not noticing my technical expertise earlier in our short relationship.
Being closer to my mother, I helped around the house a lot, went with her in the car to deliver her Raleigh Products before I became of school age. assisted with an older brother that was handicapped with Parkinson's disease, and whatever else she would find to ask me to do.
