Overview

You may remember Frankie from Miles' Eyes—and now she's back, ready to take readers on another heartwarming journey. This time, Frankie explores a world full of new friends with unique abilities, asks thoughtful questions, and learns how kindness and curiosity can open the door to true inclusion. I wrote Frankie's World of Inclusion to celebrate the incredible children and families I've met through my work, and to give parents, teachers, and caregivers a gentle way to start conversations about empathy, acceptance, and belonging with the children in their lives.

Description

This book was written with families, classrooms, and communities in mind. It's not just a story—it's an invitation. Through Frankie's journey, children see that inclusion isn't complicated; it's about noticing, listening, and welcoming everyone just as they are. Along the way, readers are reminded that kindness and belonging grow stronger when we all make space at the table. I was lucky enough to receive consent from families to include their amazing children in Frankie's journey—real kids who inspire inclusion every single day. Their presence makes this book extra special, because it shows the beauty of real friendships and the importance of representation. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and author, I've had the privilege of working with incredible kids and families who remind me daily of the power of acceptance. Frankie's World of Inclusion is a celebration of them, and a gentle conversation-starter for parents and teachers who want to raise compassionate, empathetic children. Whether you're reading this book at bedtime, in the classroom, or during a storytime circle, Frankie's message is simple but powerful: our world is brighter when we include everyone.
