Mary was an elementary school teacher for over twenty years. This book was inspired by lessons on collective nouns with sixth and seventh grade students. She also was a fitness instructor for over twenty-five years. Raising her four children and loving her three granddaughters put her on the path of authorship. Her other works include a trilogy of one-act plays for young actors: The Star, The Lamb and The Gift.
