About the author
Mary was an elementary school teacher for over twenty years. Her other books include A Parliament of Owls and An Ostentation of Peacocks, inspired by lessons on collective nouns with sixth- and seventh-grade students. Raising her four children and loving her seven grandchildren put her on the path of authorship. Her other works include a trilogy of one-act plays for young actors: The Star, The Lamb and The Gift; these can be found at playsforstjude.org.
