About the author
Allen Hunt writes and speaks. He leads and creates. His work inspires and motivates.
While serving as a megachurch pastor, Allen began a remarkable journey culminating in his conversion to Catholicism. He now partners with Matthew Kelly to help lead the Dynamic Catholic Institute, an organization inspiring millions of Catholics and their parishes.
An author of a number of bestselling books, Allen is also a powerful speaker. His messages inspire everyday people to more fully recognize the genius and relevance of Catholicism, the role it's meant to play in their lives, and how to share this with others.
Prior to full-time ministry, Allen worked in management consulting with Kurt Salmon Associates, an international leader in the textile, apparel, and retail industries. He was educated at Mercer University (BBA) and Emory University (MDiv), before earning a PhD in New Testament and Ancient Christian Origins from Yale University.
Allen's personal interests include hiking, literature, spirituality, history, and good food. He and his wife, Anita, live in Georgia. They have two daughters, SarahAnn and Griffin Elizabeth, two sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren.
