Author Info

On a leap of faith, Mina Grace, left California during the height of the pandemic to live on a remote island in the heart of the Philippines. She's married to her former Bodyguard, Momma to four sons and Grammy to one. She's also the impassioned plant-based Chef, a wellness coach, epicurean foodie and social media influencer behind The Graves' Disease Chef.

She's a lifestyle and health food columnist for "Tangled Silver Magazine," a magazine for women by women, who've ditched the dye, embraced the beauty of aging and their nature hair color. Her featured column, "Silver and Salt" is where she shares her tested and perfected plant-based recipes that contributed to her health and healing, after having suffered from Graves' Disease for so long.

Before her retirement, she enjoyed a colorful and illustrious career in politics - interviewing and working with three U.S. Presidents, Cabinet secretaries, a movie star Governor, Senators and Dignataries.

She was editor in chief and publisher of nationally awarded, California Schools Magazine - seven years in a row. She co-authored, "911! A Manual for Schools and the Media During a Campus Crisis," a publication that continues to be used as a valuable resource for schools and media across the country.

When Mina Grace decided that traditional Western medicine wasn't for her, she began to cook and experiment. She became a recipe developer, food artist and Chef, after discovering the truth behind the expression, "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." It's not just a catchphrase.

It's a lifestyle.

She came out of retirement to tell her story about living with Graves' Disease to help guide and give hope to others looking for healthier and more sustainable options. She hosts daily cooking demos from her Graves' Disease Test Kitchen on the islands and in California and, wherever the Tradewinds take her on her wild adventure that brough her healing.

She's spilling the beans and the greens on the things you didn't know you could do for Graves Disease through plant-based organic whole foods - sharing the exact steps she took that saved her life.

It's a game changer.
