My name is likely to pop up in a variety of genre: non-fiction, fiction and drama. The American Historical Society, the British Royal Historical Society, the Authors Guild, Biography International Organization, and the Dramatists Guild are the highlights of the organizations in which I've been active. I am currently a Network Playwright with Chicago Dramatists.
A Coat of Many Colors is an anthology of five plays. It includes one act and full length plays as well as one broadcast on NPR stations. These plays have one common denominator: a real life main character who is Jewish. While anti-Semitism has been around for a couple of thousand years, of late it has been in more than a few news stories. This seems like a good time to show just have interesting and diverse Jewish stage characters can be.
