Tara Pionkowski is your average every day little redhaired girl from the Midwest. Topping out at a staggering 4 feet 10 inches tall she realized that her plans for total world domination had been thwarted by her inability to reach the top shelf, so she went into the family restaurant business. She grew up in a small town in central Wisconsin with her two younger sisters, parents, and huge extended family. With her father being one of 17 children and her mother being one of 8 she quietly withdrew into her love of reading and writing. As sometimes happens life got in the way of her writing plans. Her family sold the business, she dabbled in advertising and automotive sales, got married, had a daughter, got divorced, and went back to the fast-paced restaurant environment. She currently lives in a slightly larger small town with her significantly taller daughter and 3 dogs that's about 10 miles away from the one she grew up in. She wrote "What do you Want to be?" in memory of her father who passed away from pancreatic cancer a week before her daughter was born.
