Author, Tara Pionkowski, lives in a small town in central Wisconsin with her daughter about 12 miles away from the even smaller town she grew up in with her parents and two sisters. When she isn't busy managing the littlest hidden pizza place in town she enjoys spending time with her daughter and 3 dogs, and taking walks to think and write in her head. Her love of writing started at a young age when she'd spend hours in her room or would take a notebook with her when she went to sit on the little bridge in the woods over the river when the fish weren't biting. In high school Tara wrote for the school newspaper and was the editor of the school literary magazine. She never got around to publishing any of her short stories. This book is written in memory of her father who passed away at 53 from cancer and in honor of anyone who ever lost someone too soon. Dedicated to her daughter, Emerson, who was born a week after he passed away. No matter what happens I'll always be proud of you and I hope all your dreams come true.
