Russell Bloodworth, Jr. is an author who has been part of a small, grass-roots fellowship of Christian disciples for over forty years. His first book, Visions, Dreams & Encounters, takes the reader through a 65-year history of actual encounters with God in the lives of very ordinary people. Many are from his own experiences and others from those with whom he has walked.
He and his wife of fifty years, Fran, became part of a small house church in Memphis, Tennessee in the early 1970s – a time of great social upheaval and the Jesus movement. They are the proud parents of four children and grandchildren.
Russell was educated at the University of Virginia and Yale University in addition to stints as an American Scandinavian Foundation Fellow in Sweden and a Knight Foundation fellow in conjunction with the University of Miami.
His second book, The Early Ekklesia, is available through Bookbaby and Amazon. An Audible version also is available. His third book, Who Are You Anyway?, is also available print, kindle and Audible formats. Last but not least is You & God.
