I am an illustrator and inquisitive about everything. I have been drawing from very early, I believe around 3 years of age based on where we lived at the time. I have won awards for my work from the earliest entries and I have and the opportunity to work for some well known studios.

I have also taught art in public school, college, community schools, and private lessons. I have developed a teaching philosophy that traditional teaching methods are not very effective and are "industrial age" keyed. My concept for successful teaching is that under arranged circumstances the student needs to believe that they have made a discovery and then they own the experience. If they are given all the answers there is no ownership.

As an artist I have always been interested in things. Pretty much everything. After a life time of how does this work, why does that happen? I eventually came to what if? I have come to believe that most of life is a series of "if then" statements. Most of it is if I do this, then this happens. If I don't do this then this happens and then figure out why. I have now written a book based on some of those personal observations and my teaching philosophy.
