Overview

A book of thoughts, sayings and concepts of self improvement accompanied with visual images and "I AM" affirmations meant to stir the imagination and enhance change. The "I AM" statement or affirmation is something that you are currently using so why not use it to make the changes you want? This is not a clinical book. There are no charts, statistics, or research data. It is a book of pictures and prose that with your participation could change your life.

Description

We all have an internal dialogue that is based on beliefs we have about our life experiences. Most of the narrative is from a childs point of view and does not change throughout our lifetime. Our initial response programing is downloaded from the last trimester in the womb to about the age of eight or nine. Most of us have had no "updates" and we are running unsupported programs. Our initial programming, if you will, is still running much of our system. "Paths and Portals" uses visual images to open the door and engage a sense of separation from the mundane. The second step is to read the message and contemplate its relevance to our day to day lives. How does it relate to your own experience? Read the questions and suggestions. The questions we ask ourselves can be very important in the change process. As you read and use the book, your questions and answers will change as will your "I AM" statements. The whole process requires thoughtful effort to make permanent changes. The efforts can be enhanced by journaling and meditation. This book is not clinical and has no charts, graphs, or statistics. It is all simple and easy to understand. It is meant to be in the voice of simple suggestion.
