The House Guest: The Adventures of Gidget and Tigress, Sister Cats by Faye Peacock Wilson is a picture book for children. Cat siblings Gidget and Tigress learn they are to have a house guest staying with them for a while. They are excited and intrigued to learn that the guest is another cat for them to play with; Tigress more so than Gidget. Their house guest arrives and the two of them are surprised to see a rather posh-looking cat. He has a fancy collar and a small tail. This intrigues the siblings even more. They soon learn that their guest is a lot different than they are. Will Gidget and Tigress change who they are to befriend their new house guest? Find out in this book.

The House Guest: The Adventures of Gidget and Tigress was a pleasure to read. The author Faye Peacock Wilson has professionally written an attention-grabbing story that will not only entertain children but will also educate them on diversity. They will learn through the adorable kitty characters that everyone is different and no one shouldn't change who they are for anyone else. The writing is simple and will enable young readers to follow along and absorb the lessons with ease. The illustrations by Muhammad Faizan are vibrant and fit nicely within the story, as well as being the perfect image for each character's personality. I wish Faye all the best in her future creations and can't wait to read more of her work. Keep writing and stay creative!
