Author Info

BILLY ALLEN is a novelist living in upstate New York after having had a successful career in the theater for over thirty years in NYC. Although his profession was in the performing arts, his passion has always been writing and he has accumulated a sizable library of his original works over the years which he is just now undertaking to publish.

Mr. Allen's first release was "Two Rights", a coming of age story that tells of a young runaway in rural America in the 1950s. It garnered enthusiastic reviews and encouraged Billy to dig into his archives and ready other works for release as well.

Allen writes from the perspective of a gay man so the bulk of what he creates is geared toward a gay or gay-friendly audience. The storylines vary vastly from book to book yet the commonality remains that it is possible, in the worlds he fashions, for love between two men to somehow beat the odds. Pure, altruistic and meaningful relationships are given a fighting chance in the novels of Billy Allen.
