I am a retired Special Education teacher, where I was blessed to have worked with and taught students from 5 to 95 years of age. I taught in the San Diego Junior College Adult school level, the Secondary Level and the Elementary school level. I graduated from San Diego State Universality with a major in art. I used my major in art to help my students express themselves and develop the talent they may have discovered they had.
It has taken me almost 30 years to put this book together. I wrote the stories and drew the illustrations. My Dad, a biology teacher, and He wrote the poems for my children when they were young. Don't give up on your dreams. I put this book together to honor my Dad. I hope that Grandpa's Treasures , will make others more aware of the blessings that are out there in our environment!
