About The Author


Kimberly Manganelli, the author of The Gift of Mittens and Yoga Beach Adventure, enjoys living her passion. She graduated from Monmouth University with a master’s degree in education. She utilizes her twenty years of professional experience as a certified teacher, reading specialist, and children's yoga instructor to write character education and yoga adventure books for children.

Debbie Tielman, Kimberly’s mother, is the illustrator of The Gift of Mittens and Yoga Beach Adventure. She graduated from Trenton State College, now known as The College of New Jersey, with a degree in interior design. After retiring from her interior design business, she now spends her free time painting.

Mary Schantz, Manganelli’s former colleague, enjoys taking nature photos as her hobby. She captures the true essence of the simple beauty evident in the living world.
