Determined to live with kindness, empathy, and understanding, like his mother had taught him, Mittens, with help from his animal friends, assists a kitten who was being bullied. "Every animal came out with Mittens' loud cry―even Salvador, the bulldog, in his new bow tie. Bella, the collie, bustled on to the scene. United together, their presence taught Max to stop being mean." This book is sure to be a page-turner for every child who eagerly waits to learn the destiny of Mittens, the courageous cat.
