Dawn is the author of two previously published books, including the bestselling "Awakening the Warrior Within: Secrets of Personal Safety & Inner Security," originally published by Nataraj-New World Library. She teaches workshops by the same title, holds a Black Belt in Kenpo and other martial arts disciplines, is a gourmet cook, grandmother of two young boys, and has a background as an entrepreneur, teacher, and personal bodyguard to many celebrities. She has facilitated spiritual and personal growth workshops for over 25 years. She presently lives in a small town near San Diego, California.
