Michael S. ("Mickey") Maurer's career as an attorney and entrepreneur has included cable television, film production, radio broadcasting, publishing, real estate and banking. He served as Chairman of the Board of IBJ Corporation and The National Bank of Indianapolis. He is a regular columnist for the Indianapolis Business Journal and a regular contributor to the New York Times crossword puzzle. He is the author of Water Colors: The Photographs of Michael S.
