Imagine falling asleep on a hot summer’s day and then waking to find that for a second you don’t know where you are. And now imagine that that second becomes a minute, that minute becomes an hour and then a day and then all the reality which you knew to be your world was no longer there and the people you thought you knew don't even know who you ARE. THIS is where the story begins.......

In Swappers ‘our man’ arrives in another world which he thinks is his own, but in some way it has changed, but he can’t imagine quite how. Not knowing whether it is he, or everything else which has changed, is only the start to this rolling nightmare. Lester Davis, a man ripped away from his corporate life and his wife and family, soon realises that what he thought were difficult times at work and at home, would be trivial and unimportant in comparison to the adventures in which he would now be forced to become a part of. How would you cope if you were swapped?

David Andrew Lestner is a Yorkshire man, born and bred. Born in 1962 and raised in Leeds, he was educated at Roundhay High School and Bradford University, obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy. While pursuing his career in corporate healthcare provision, he also developed a ‘further career’ as a musician and a creative writer and now presents his Science Fiction novel “Swappers”. He is married with three children and writes songs for, and records music with his wife Alison M Lestner.
