About the author


Joe is retired from the U.S. Federal Government after 35 years of service. He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and has engineering degrees from Virginia Tech and George Mason University. This is his third published children's book. He lives in Virginia with his wife Mary Jo. Together, they have six grown children, an affectionate pet rabbit, two adopted cats, and three not-so-affectionate parakeets.
