Robot Ranger My son loves this story. It is a perfect length story before bed because of the 24 pages. The genius of the book it is a longer read in the afternoon because of the detailed and fun blueprint diagrams that explain how the robots all work. The blueprints are complex for a 7 year old but this is a positive. My son asks me lots of questions to help him understand what the top secret blueprint mean. Forinstance Rob uses anti-gravity technology to float and move without touching the ground. Sparks fun conversations. One afternoon reading session lasted 25 minutes discussing how the robots work according to the blueprints. I appreciate the book can be a 2 minute read before bed and a 25 minute read in the daytime. A children's book that respects the intelligence and imagination of young children. I purchased the Ebook but my son asked for the paperback to share with his friends. Our family are official Robot Ranger fans. Looking forward to the next book in the series. The back cover says book 1 of 10. Read more

Robot Ranger My son loves Rob! Sam thinks Rob is the coolest to it because he cares about animals, people, and protecting nature. My son loves robots but I have a difficult time finding stories for his age, 6, that have a positive message and teach about the importance of creating good robots. Rob, the park ranger robot teaches about the importance of being polite, kind, and respectful to all life. A powerful and much needed message for our young children in this modern time where politeness and kindness are becoming in shorter supply. I didn’t realize this book was the first co-authored by a human and an AI robot. My son and I found there is a website to send the authors a message. Sam wrote an email to Maria Bot, the robot author, if we can meet online. No answer yet but we hope to hear from Maria Bot! Read more

Robot Ranger A lovely children’s robot fiction book. Brilliant story and illustrations that embrace diversity of culture and the goodness of people and the creation of helpful robots. My daughter is 7 years old and loves the park ranger robot, Rob, and that the illustrations are happy. The blueprints of each robot character are detailed and complex. I was not sure at first if the book was too advanced fir her. I was pleasantly surprised, especially as a science teacher, the blueprints led to meaningful discussions about real science concepts such as gravity, robots, satellites, and why we have park rangers. This is the best robot fiction story I have read to my daughter. The story is about family, friends, robots, and inspires creative and imaginative thinking. We purchased the ebook. My daughter wants the book in print because she uses my iPad to read ebooks. Not often does my 7 year old ask for a book we own electronically in print. My daughter told me she wants to share the blueprints and story with her school teacher and since she can’t take my iPad to school needs the book. I love this book is both fun and one she wants to bring to school and share. Read more
