About the author
David P. Murphy is the author of "Zombies for Zombies: Advice and Etiquette for the Living Dead." Additionally, he can be blamed for "Zombies for Zombies: The Play and Werk Buk," "Ace Your Zombie Exam! The Official Ph.Z. Study Guide" and "The Doomsday Survival Handbook—A Bucket List for Every Conceivable Apocalypse." "Rapturella and Other Apocalyptic Tales" is his first book of short stories. Be kind.
David is also a songwriter and producer of four CDs, "Shining in a Temporary Sun," Henry Perry's "Effortless," Camille Metoyer Moten's "A Simpler Christmas" and Beth Asbjornson's "Gratitude." His next album, "My Fraudulent Memoirs," will be released in the fall of 2012. Okay, maybe the winter.
After twenty-five years in Los Angeles, David now resides in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, with his mutant orange cat, Beany. Awesome name for a cat, huh?
He recently completed his newest musical, "anotherwhere."
Contrary to popular opinion, he isn't much of a dancer.
