Mary Heffernan and her family moved to the country in 2013 to build Five Marys Farms from the ground up. They raise cattle, sheep and hogs for harvest along with horses, dogs and chickens. Mary & Brian named all four of their daughters after strong women named Mary on both sides of the family - Mary Frances, MaryMarjorie, MaryJane and Mary Teresa, but they go by nicknames Francie, Maisie, JJ and Tessa! Mary is also the author of Five Marys Ranch Raised Cookbook published in 2020 and Five Marys Family Style, coming Fall of 2022.
