Overview
My Education: Authentic Teaching is a compilation of academic papers I wrote while pursing my third master's degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. My work is divided into three parts, each addressing a facet of the teaching experience. They include analyses on what makes teaching a genuine and sincere practice, while also addressing critical questions educators face daily in the classroom.
Description
The purpose of this book is to provide present and future educators and teachers with a vital resource on the importance of authentic teaching, one that addresses the facets of the teaching experience. If schools are to provide the best education for all children, it starts with the background and experiences that teachers bring to the classroom that make teaching a genuine and sincere practice. When schools address the critical questions that educators face daily in the classroom, students can achieve academically, thus resulting in decreasing the learning gap.
