International Award‑Winning Author and Global Award‑Winning Educator Melissa Woodforlk‑Whyte Announces New Book: The Different Relationships With Money: Why You Spend, Save, and Stress

Releasing September 1, 2026 — Now Available for Pre‑Order

Phoenix, AZ — Melissa Woodforlk‑Whyte, an International Award‑Winning Author and Global Award‑Winning Educator known for her groundbreaking work in financial literacy and human‑centered education, will release her highly anticipated new book, The Different Relationships With Money: Why You Spend, Save, and Stress, on September 1, 2026. The book is now officially open for pre‑orders.

Blending behavioral science, emotional intelligence, and real‑world financial insight, Woodforlk‑Whyte offers a transformative framework that helps readers understand the deeper forces shaping their financial decisions. Rather than focusing on budgets or traditional financial advice, the book explores the nine core money identities that influence how people earn, spend, save, avoid, and emotionally respond to money.

“Most people believe their financial struggles come from a lack of discipline,” Woodforlk‑Whyte says. “But the truth is far more human. Our money habits are shaped by identity, lived experience, and emotional survival patterns. Once we understand the relationship we have with money, we can finally change it.”

A New Lens on Financial Behavior

The Different Relationships With Money: Why You Spend, Save, and Stress introduces a compassionate, research‑backed approach that helps readers:

  • Identify their dominant money relationship
  • Understand the emotional roots of their financial patterns
  • Break cycles of stress, avoidance, overspending, or over‑controlling
  • Build a healthier, more empowered relationship with money
  • Create financial habits that align with their values and emotional needs

The book is designed for individuals, families, educators, and organizations seeking a deeper, more inclusive approach to financial wellness.
