Daniel Larimer is computer programmer, economist, game theorist, and entrepreneur. He has made it his life mission to create free market, voluntary, solutions for securing life, liberty, property, and justice for all. In pursuit of this mission he was the founder of some of the most innovative blockchain communities including BitShares, Steemit/Hive.blog, and EOS. Each of these blockchain communities had their currency surpass a $1 billion market capitalization. He introduced the concept of the DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Company/Community/Country) which is also known as DAO (Organization). His inventions include the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) consensus algorithm and patents on provably honest elections and decentralized identity management.
