Overview
"A haunting re-creation of the way of life and the kind of people who formed America's vision of the west. Written by a woman who was born into that life and became one of those in this story, this memoir is filled with accounts of courage and simple goodness that makes a splendid salve for today's headlines. The same pluckiness, honesty, and strength that Bonnie Sivers learned on horseback at her father's side she used in writing this memoir, a tribute to him, a gift for us." - The Late Anne Lowenkopff
