Overview
"Meeting My Therapist" is a labor of love. Touching on feelings and learning, it is a book aimed at preparing children for therapy. Inspiration is pulled from the likes of many children books when it comes to manifesting feelings, making it easy for children to visualize and understand. This book helps reduce anxiety and stress on the counseling process and prepares children for what might occur while in therapy with their therapist prior to the first session. It is a great asset to go over with your child to quell their fears and concerns.

Many families have requested a book that normalizes mental health for their children. With the advent of mental health awareness behind us, we've entered a new age where focus on truly understanding our children has become normalized. Counseling can be effective for all ages who attend, and just like a physical check-up, a mental one is crucial for development too. This book is intended for children, families and professionals in the mental health field providing resources to the community.
