Love at First Sight

Frankie has barely graduated from the police academy when a blue eyed, blonde haired girl walked onto the stage in front of him. One look at this girl and she had his heart throbbing. When Frankie had a run in with her after the ceremony, he decides, with some influence from Joseph, who also happens to be his Shadow, to take her on a date. One date turns into what could only be the best decision of Frankie's life. As with any relationship, they hit some road bumps along the way, but everything seemed to work out in their favor. A newborn brightens their lives and brings them even closer. Everything seems to be going perfectly, that is until tragedy hits, leaving a large hole in Frankie's heart.

Frankie, a young Necromancer, had walked outside, ready to graduate from the academy. Not knowing what was about to overtake him and his heart. With influence from his Shadow, Joseph, he musters up the courage to ask her out on a date, which turns into the best decision he had ever come up with, or at least, the best decision he had help coming up with. Of course, his love life has its ups and downs, releasing emotions for both him and for Layla, the girl he had fallen for. When they find out Layla is pregnant, Frankie has a dilemma, not knowing if he should tell her the truth about what he really is. Suddenly, Frankie finds himself heartbroken, not once, but twice. When his heart finally starts to heal, he must make a decision that will benefit both he and his child. Love at First Sight is a novella that proceeds and leads into the events to follow Book 1 of the Golden Loch Series.
