Frankie Dawson and his daughter Jacquelynn have moved from Miami, Florida to Golden Loch, Michigan for work. There he is greeted by his partner, Ashley Aequitas and Lieutenant Mathew Reames. They work together on solving the murder of Elizabeth Keaton, who had been pushed to her death. Frankie, who is a Necromancer, works to uncover what happened to Elizabeth and while doing so he uncovers the secrets that the town is holding. Along the way, he makes friends with Oliver Verda and Ruby who both help him to come to his conclusion.
