About the author
As I reflected on the journey to be trained as a chef and what it took to get to the finish, these words definitely apply. They are creativity, being competitive, team work, re-taste or re-season and thinking outside the box. Classes began at 5am or 7am and the others from about 5pm to Midnight when the last guest left the dining room. Though we had specific dishes to prepare there was no limit to developing our skills. Food or beverages that were classics, the ingredients could not be altered but for others. I took the items "out on the town". I graduated from New York Institute of Technology, located in Old Westbury New York with degrees in Culinary Arts and Hotel Restaurant Management. My hobbies include cooking, baking and reading. Some guiding principles in my life are loving GOD, also my neighbor, prayer and giving to help others.
