About the author
Rev. Dr. Tresmaine Grimes serves as Co-Pastor of Living Water Christian Center, Inc. in White Plains, New York. As part of her pastoral responsibilities, she teaches a weekly Bible study class that emphasizes every believer's personal spiritual development and relationship with God. Those lessons formed the foundation for Little Lessons, Big Faith.
Rev. Dr. Grimes earned degrees in the field of Psychology from Yale University, New School for Social Research, and Teachers College, Columbia University. She has worked in higher education since 1991. Over the years, she has served in many capacities in church, including worship leader, teacher, Elder, and Associate Pastor. To address the needs of women in the church, Dr. Grimes established Sarah's Daughters Ministries, Inc. in 2012. This 501 c 3 organization focuses on helping women life trauma, especially domestic violence. Her first book, Sarah's Daughters: Fertility & Fruitfulness from a Biblical Perspective, was published in 2009.
Dr. Grimes is married to Pastor Clarence Grimes, Jr. They are the parents of two adult children and have one granddaughter.
